Cookie Notice
Termnova currently uses only cookies that are necessary to authenticate users and protect the sign-in flow. It does not use advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies.
Consent banners are not useful when a site sets only strictly necessary cookies. If analytics, personalization, or advertising technologies are introduced, Termnova will add the required choices before enabling them.
Cookies currently used
| Name | Purpose | Typical duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
termnova_session | Maintains an authenticated browser session after a valid workspace access key or identity-provider sign-in. The cookie is HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict, and Secure in production. | Up to 8 hours by default, or earlier on sign-out or revocation | Strictly necessary |
termnova_oidc_flow | Temporarily binds an OIDC sign-in attempt to its state, nonce, PKCE verifier, and return path to reduce login-forgery and replay risk. The cookie is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and Secure in production. | Up to 10 minutes; removed after callback | Strictly necessary |
What Termnova does not currently use
The hosted application does not currently set cookies for advertising, cross-site behavioral profiling, social-media tracking, audience measurement, or non-essential personalization. Embedded service providers may receive ordinary network request data when your browser requests their resources; the public website currently avoids third-party analytics scripts.
Your controls
You can remove cookies through browser settings or sign out of Termnova. Blocking the cookies above will prevent or interrupt authenticated workspace use. Closing a tab does not necessarily end the session; use the in-product sign-out control when using a shared device.
Browser “Do Not Track” signals do not change current behavior because Termnova does not conduct cross-site advertising tracking. Legally required opt-out signals will be honored if a relevant practice is introduced.
Changes and questions
This notice will be updated before materially different browser-storage technology is enabled. Questions can be sent through the operator contact form. See the Privacy Notice for the broader handling of personal information.
